Virgin Media launches £12 a month BlackBerry deal

 

Get unlimited data, email and BlackBerry Messenger with Virgin Media’s market-leading offer.

New customers signing-up to the Virgin Media (www.virginmedia.com) mobile network can get the BlackBerry Curve 8520 smartphone for free when they sign a 24-month contract.

For £12 a month you get 50 inclusive minutes and 250 texts - as well as “unlimited” BlackBerry Messenger, web and email access. Customers also get free calls to other Virgin Media mobile phones.

The BlackBerry Curve 8520 comes with an easy-to-use Qwerty keyboard, wi-fi support for superfast surfing and 3G access when you're out and about.

It also features:

• A 2Mp camera
• Space for up to 32GB memory using a MicroSD card.

Any customers who also take Virgin Media services at home, such as broadband, home phone or digital TV, will also get discount on their bill, bringing their monthly cost down to just £10 a month.

And if you're an NUS Extra registered student, you can save even more with an additional 15% off each month.

Jonathan Kini, director of mobile at Virgin Media pointed out that this deal would be popular with families, students and teens. He said: “BlackBerry is no longer just for business users, and our exceptionally competitive deals can only help BlackBerry smartphones become an even bigger break-through device for consumers.
