T-Mobile launches The Full Monty unlimited data plan

Available on all smartphones - including iPhone, Android and BlackBerry - with no restrictions on internet, calls or texts.

T-Mobile has today announced the launch of a ground-breaking mobile tariff, with “absolutely no limits” on calling, texting and browsing the web.

The Full Monty plan gives new and existing T-Mobile customers the freedom to make unlimited calls, send unlimited texts and use as much mobile internet as they want - with no fair usage restrictions.

Available from 1 February, on over 25 handsets in the T-Mobile range - including the iPhone 4S, Samsung Galaxy S II and BlackBerry 9900 - the 24-month Full Monty contract splits into four price brackets, each offering a choice of high-spec handsets:

Ben Fritsch, head of propositions at T-Mobile, said: “It’s all about keeping control without having to check against your limit all the time. Over the past two years, we’ve seen a rise in mobile internet use of over 250% which reflects the consumer trend of being ‘always on’ wherever they are.

“The Full Monty has been designed for customers who want the peace of mind that there are absolutely no limits placed on their allowances, whilst also knowing they’re getting market-leading value for money.”

As well as being reassured that there are no caps on their calls, texts and internet, Full Monty customers will also have access to unlimited Wi-Fi be able to use their 3G connection for whatever they want - including streaming, downloading and tethering.

While the tariff is primarily aimed at new customers, anyone with an existing T-Mobile contract can upgrade to The Full Monty when they renew. Alternatively, they can “migrate” to the unlimited plan provided it is not cheaper than their current monthly tariff.

Unlimited Wi-Fi will be available at any T-Mobile or BT Openzone hotspot, with a new T-Mobile Wi-Fi App giving customers one-click access wherever they are.

Senior proposition manager, Regan Whitehead, added: “It’s not comparable in the market. No other network is doing this. It’s completely new to the UK mobile industry.”
