It's been a long wait for excited fans, but the Spotify music app has finally arrived on Apple's tablet. Spotify for iPad is now available to download for free from the App Store.

Spotify gives users instant access to millions of tracks from all over the musical map. You can stream songs online, discover new artists and create playlists to share with your friends.

The brand new Spotify for iPad app features a colourful and user-friendly interface, which has been optimised to make full use of the new iPad's breathtaking Retina Display.

In addition, it comes with complete AirPlay integration, allowing you to beam your music around the house to your AirPlay compatible speakers or Apple TV box.

Spotify for iPad is not just for music, but a social app too. With all of your Facebook friends onboard, you can easily share what you're listening to and examine the playlists of others.
