Take your pick from three Android smartphones and one Windows Mobile phone.
Pictures and specifications of four upcoming smartphones created by PC assembler Dell have been leaked online.
Smoke, Flash and Thunder each run on Google’s Android operating system (OS), while the fourth leaked smartphone – called Lightning – runs the only recently launched version seven of Microsoft’s Windows Mobile OS.
Details of all four Dell smartphones came to light in leaked marketing pamphlets handed by an unknown source to technology website Engadget, which subsequently posted them all online. Dell has yet to make any comment.
Lightning has a gorgeous 4.1in touchscreen that slides up to reveal a physical Qwerty keyboard underneath. The phone measures roughly 64 x 121 x 15mm and also features:
Thunder follows Lightning with most of the same specifications, including screen size and camera quality. Thunder’s main difference from Lightning is that it doesn’t have a Qwerty keyboard.
Although Flash runs Android, the smartphone is a slightly lower specification smartphone than Thunder because it only has a 3.5in touchscreen. Nonetheless, Flash also includes:
Last, but by no means least, comes Smoke – Dell’s third Android phone of the bunch. It has a 2.8in touchscreen with a small Qwerty keyboard below that makes the phone look like a stretched out BlackBerry.
