Evening newspaper the London Evening Standard has launched a smartphone application (app).
The free app lets users read the paper’s daily news content directly from a smartphone’s screen, save articles for later and post LES article links onto Twitter. The app even features photo galleries, the LES said.
Apple iPhone users can download the LES app from the App Store. Those with smartphones running Google’s Android operating system, such as the HTC Desire, can download the app from Android Market.
Nokia, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile OS phones can also get the newspaper app from their respective online app stores.
