Take swift action if someone has an epileptic seizure with the help of a new iPhone app.
A free application (app) that educates people about suitable first-aid techniques for epileptics has been launched on the iPhone.
The Epilepsy Guide app includes essential first-aid information, a step-by-step guide to the recovery position, basic information about epilepsy, and facts about epileptic seizures.
Chris Eagle, marketing director at Mobilechoices.co.uk: “This app is a great example of the additional features that smartphones offer over and above telephone calls, mobile internet and videos.”
The app was designed by the National Society for Epilepsy to help promote National Epilepsy Week, which runs from 13 to 19 June.
