The latest iPhone 4 will be out in two weeks – promising a longer-lasting battery, two cameras and a better screen.
Apple will launch the new iPhone 4 – the thinnest and most advanced one yet – on 24 June.
O2, Vodafone, T-Mobile and Orange have already confirmed plans to sell the iPhone 4 from 24 June, but none have said how much the smartphone or call plans will cost.
The iPhone 4 has squarer sides than its predecessor, the iPhone 3GS, and is packed with lots of exciting new features, including: a user-facing camera, a higher resolution screen and a 5Mp rear camera with flash.
“This is the biggest leap we've taken since the original iPhone”, said Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple, as he unveiled the iPhone 4 in the US last night.
The iPhone 4’s battery life is the best of any iPhone model so far, Apple said, with the smartphone good for 40 hours of audio playback, 10 hours of video or internet, and 14 hours of talktime.
The iPhone 4 won’t be any faster at wirelessly connecting to the internet than the iPhone 3GS, though, despite rumours to the contrary.
